Travel along any Texas street or highway and you will see all sorts of road signs. Each sign's color and shape tells you something about what lies ahead.

    • Yellow and orange
    • Usually diamonds, pentagons and round signs
    • Indicate unexpected conditions or changes

    • Red, black and white
    • Usually triangles, octagons and vertical rectangles
    • Display traffic laws
