Faces of Drunk Driving

Jacqui Saburido’s story unfolded tragically on Sept. 19, 1999. High school senior Reginald Stephey drove home drunk and slammed into a car carrying five people. Two were killed instantly.

Jacqui, a 20‑year‑old student at the time, was trapped inside when the car caught fire. Badly burned, she now has no ears, no hair and no nose. Because her fingers had to be amputated, she has limited use of her hands.

The night that Jacqui Saburido lost her face and her independence, Reggie Stephey lost his freedom and bright future. Learn more about this story at wwwFacesofDrunkDriving.com
